Description

Your photo, laser engraved into a 4 × 4 inch plaque and set in a wooden frame. The laser reads the light and dark in your picture and engraves it line by line, so the result is a high-contrast image you can touch, not a print.

Choose natural wood for a warm, rustic look, or black photo paper for a sharp monochrome image with deep blacks. On the wood plaque you can add an engraving on the back: a name, a date, a short message or a place.

It stands on a shelf or a desk, or hangs on a wall, and it makes a lasting gift for an anniversary, a wedding, a new baby, or in memory of someone.

What photo works best for engraving?
A sharp photo with good lighting and strong contrast between the subject and the background. Faces should fill a good part of the frame.

Can I choose the frame colour?
Frames come in black, oak or walnut brown, and we match the frame to the plaque from what's in stock. If you have a preference, write it in the Leave a note box and we'll do our best.

Can it hang on a wall?
Yes. The frame is ready to stand on a shelf or hang on a wall.

Can you engrave a photo in colour?
No. Laser engraving works in tones of one colour: browns on wood, silver-grey on black photo paper. That's what gives it its look.
